Jaguar XF S 2.2 Launching in India by Dec 2012 or Jan 2013
British luxury car maker Jaguar's Indian arm already has the XF in three engine options-3.0-litre V6 diesel, 5.0-litre petrol and 5.0-litre supercharged petrol. Now our sources inform us that the giant is now planning to launch the XF S 2.2, which will house a smaller 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission gearbox, helping it become cheaper and better in terms of fuel efficiency. Moreover, the car which is currently brought to India via CBU will now opt the CKD route, to help it become considerably cheaper than now.
