Japanese auto giant, Toyota Motor Corporation has yesterday announced its production, domestic sales and export results, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd., for December 2012 and for CY2012. Toyota's global vehicle sales for the year 2012 stood at 9.748 million vehicles, which has even surpassed the estimated sales figure of 9.7 million vehicles, making it world's top automaker once again leaving behind General Motors.
