Toyota Fortuner from the Japanese manufacturer and BMW X1 from German car major is attracting great demand in market despite the fact that SUVs are considered to be the fuel guzzlers by the Union environment minister, Mr. Jairam Ramesh. Toyota had put a halt on the booking of its affordable Sports Utility Vehicle, Toyota Fortuner and will reopen its booking in January next year. While on the other hand, BMW X1 is attracting high demand even before the start of bookings.

BMW X1 is the cheapest model from German car manufacturer and will start its deliveries from the month of January 2011 and the booking for this powerful SUV has not yet opened for customers.
