We have earlier reported that the manufacturer is looking for a six to seven percent growth during the year 2014. In July, the company witnessed a growth of 12 percent, now followed by 4 percent in this month and if this growth streak continues, then this target seems quite achievable. In reference to this, N Raja, Director and senior Vice-President, TKM, said “The company, which registered a decline in sales in January-April this year, witnessed a marginal increase in May last and expects sales to grow by six to seven per cent this year.”
Last month, the manufacturer introduced a new limited edition variant of its Etios sedan in a bid to push sales sales. Christened as Etios Xclusive, the production of this edition was limited to just 900 units. Based on the G grade of the current lineup, the new edition is available in two existing colours- Classic Grey and Symphony Silver.
