Japanese car manufacturer, Toyota is all set to launch the facelifted Innova in Indonesia on August 19, 2013. However, the details and pricing of the vehicle are already out before its actual launch on Monday. Autonetmagz has managed to get the images and pricing of the new Innova.
The refreshed Innova gets a larger chrome grille and a completely restyled front bumper, making it look more aggressive than before. The rear end of the vehicle also has a chrome enhancement and a mildly tweaked bumper. However, all the variants of the Innova didn't get these changes. The lower end 'J' variant comes equipped with new wheel caps and dual airbags, which were missing earlier.
While the front dual airbags are standard across all the variants of the Innova, the top of the line variants sports a new music system. However, these subtle changes have also increased the price of the vehicle.
The Indonesia bound, Innova's variants - J, E and G received a price hike of 4.7 million Indonesian Rupiah (approximately Rs. 28,000). The top-of-the line V model also sees a price increase of 1.8 million Indonesian Rupiah (approximately Rs. 10,500).
Toyota hasn't made any comment on the mechanical changes on the refreshed Innova, it will be quite interesting to see whether the vehicle would get a tweaked powertrain. The Innova facelift is expected to hit the Indian shores by the early 2014, or the company might also launch the vehicle at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo.
