When purchasing a new car, we all desire it to have zero kilometres on the odometer, or as close as possible. However, customers often find that their new cars have accumulated some tens of kilometres by the time they take delivery, as dealership staff need to drive them from the stockyard to the sales outlet. 

Toyota's new initiative – ‘Awesome New Car Delivery Solution’ – will ensure customers get their hands on their new cars with only the bare minimum kilometres possible. Under this initiative, new vehicles will be transported to Toyota's sales outlets via flatbed trucks.

This delivery initiative also promises safer transportation of the vehicles. Additionally, these vehicles will be insured against any damages that might occur during transit. According to Toyota, there will be no additional charges to the customer for this new delivery process.

This new delivery service will also be available in rural and semi-urban areas where transportation via large trucks is a challenge. In the first phase, this delivery service will initially be offered across 130 Toyota dealerships across 26 states in India.
