Toyota Land Cruiser and Fortuner in India soon

Toyota Motor Corporation, leading Japanese car maker, plans to add more powerful products in its product basket in Indian car market. Toyota plans to launch its well - known SUV Land cruiser in India very soon to delight the SUV lovers in the country.
The Toyota Land cruiser sets the brand image for Toyota Motors as the Land Cruiser is Toyota’s best known model globally which will be imported as a completely built unit in India. The new Land Cruiser may cost up to Rs 40 lakh due to the import duty on the CBUs in India.
Toyota also plans to launch diesel varient of Land Cruiser. Sandeep Singh, deputy MD (marketing) of Toyota's Indian JV Toyota Kirloskar Motors, India said that Land Cruiser is under study and the recent changes to the regulations governing the import of vehicles give us an opportunity to bring the model to India. Toyota is already well - known brand in Indian car market with its Prado from the Land Cruiser family.
Company expects more sales volume with new diesel varient of Land Cruiser and Prado in India. Apart from Land Cruiser, Toyota Fortuner is also ready to hit the indian car market.
