Furthermore, the sales were not only for small cars, but even BMW sold quite a number of cars too. On Akashaya Tritiya car dealers managed to deliver a monstrous 500 cars to their customers by thirty four showrooms of Maruti in Andhra Pradesh. The above figures are almost 80% more than the usual ones. Usually about 100 cars are sold crosswise the state on a regular day.  The major cars that were in demand were Maruti Alto, Ritz and Wagon R.

Even at the Tata and Hyundai showrooms, the sales increased for the day to a huge extent. Not more than 17 cars are sold in a day typically, but Akashaya Tritiya came with loads of blessing and showered good luck on the car dealers too.

According to a BMW dealer, they had managed to deliver 4 cars along with one additional booking.
