WagonR Think Big Challenge Season 3 is back to Promote Young Entrepreneurs

Maruti Suzuki WagonR Think Big Challenge Season 3 is back again, which for two seasons has worked as a platform for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative business plans. The Zonal Round for the participants of the Young Turks category from Western India was held today at Chetana's Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. Yash Shukla from Ahmedabad was adjudged the winner of the Western Zone. He will compete with the finalists from the North, East and South Zone to win the coveted ‘Young Turks' title.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manohar Bhatt, Chief General Manager - Marketing, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, "Young minds in the country are brewing with innovative business ideas. To encourage entrepreneurship among college students we have specifically added a new category - Young Turks, this year. WagonR Think Big Challenge is an ultimate test of a business idea, passion, leadership and smartness. The young students now have an excellent opportunity to get support for their business ideas and realize their dream of entrepreneurship."

The Young Turks Category of the Think Big Challenge 3 was formed especially for B-School students, and received a whopping 5000 registrations from college students from 19 cities across India. 160 unique business ideas were registered. 4 semifinalists each were chosen from various cities to compete in the North, West, East and South Zonal rounds. The finalist from each zone will be mentored by Industry experts. The winner of the national round will also get a chance to participate in WagonR Think Big Challenge 3 Mainline Contest where he can win a brand new WagonR, Rs 10.0 lacks and a chance for venture fund.

The General (Mainlines) category of the Think Big Challenge3 has recieved a total of 36,318 registrations across the country, this year.
