Waiting Period On Tata cars: Will You Get Delivery By Navratri?

You may have to wait for as long as 12 weeks before getting your hands on your favourite Tata product

Navratras are just around the corner and so is India’s preferred car buying season. Needless to say, a surge in demand results in increased waiting periods too. If you also fancy buying a new car during this time, this story should come in handy. We have compiled a list of waiting periods on Tata cars across different cities in India to help you decide whether it will reach your garage by Navratri if you book it now.

Delhi-NCR: In the capital city and NCR region, all Tata cars have a waiting period of upto 15 days. So you can book one now and ask for a delivery during or even before Navratri. Also, since the waiting period is not high and Navratri falls in the second week of October, you might as well want to wait for Tata’s October offers and hope discounts increase. Mumbai: Things don’t look good for Mumbaikars. All Tata cars have a waiting period of 1 month. So, your newly-booked Tata car may or may not be delivered during Navratri.

Bengaluru: The same could be said for car buyers in Bengaluru as well. In fact, it's even worse. The waiting period on cars like the Nexon, Tiago and Tigor extend upto 8 weeks (2 months) here, while the Hexa and Bolt are available within 6 weeks (1.5 months) of booking. So, even if you book your car now, expect a delivery by the end of October or early November (around Diwali).

Hyderabad: All Tata cars have a waiting period of 15 days in Hyderabad. So your Tata car should be delivered to you during Navratri if you act quickly.

Chennai: Waiting periods on Tata cars here extend upto 20 days. So you should be able to get your car delivered by Navratri if you book it now.

Jaipur: Like Chennai, here also the waiting period extends upto 20 days. Given you book your car now, it should get delivered by Navratri.

Ahmedabad: Like Delhi, all Tata cars have a waiting period of 1 week here too. So, even if you book your car in the first week of October, it should be in your garage by Navratri.

Lucknow: Here, all Tata cars are readily available except for the Nexon, which has a waiting period of 12 weeks (3 months). So you don’t have to worry about waiting periods if you are planning to buy the Tiago, Tigor, Hexa or Bolt. However, in case you are planning to buy the Nexon, you can only have it by the end of this year, at least that’s what the data points at right now.

Kolkata: Like Hyderabad, all the cars have a waiting period of 15 days here too. If you live in Kolkata, start planning right away if you want a delivery during Navratri.

Chandigarh: Like Chennai and Jaipur, here also the waiting period extends upto 20 days. And hence, you’ll have to book your car soon for a Navratri delivery.

Patna: All Tata cars have a waiting period of 15 days here too, just like Kolkata and Hyderabad. So if you want your car delivered by Navratri, book soon.

Indore: Like Hyderabad, Kolkata and Patna, all cars from Tata attract a waiting period of 15 days here too. If you are eyeing a delivery by Navratri, you should book soon.
