You Can Now Pre-Book The Kia Seltos Facelift At Dealerships

The front and back of the facelifted Kia Seltos will be significantly altered, but the profile will remain unchanged

Update (04/07/23): The 2023 Kia Seltos has been unveiled in India.

• The facelifted Kia Seltos will get a refreshed front and rear look.

• It will most likely get features such as ADAS, along with the new integrated 10.25-inch screens seen on the global model.

• To continue with the same engine options, however, it is likely to get the option of the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.

• It is expected to go on sale in July, and could have a starting price of Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Customers can now pre-book the facelifted Kia Seltos at dealerships ahead of its launch, for a token amount of Rs 25,000, which may vary depending on the region. The updated compact SUV from Kia will get many changes in terms of design and features, and is also expected to go on sale in July. Let’s have a quick overview of what is expected.

Refreshed Look

The facelifted Seltos will feature a redesigned front grille, new LED DRLs and headlight setup on the front, while the rear end will also get a tweaked tail lamp design. The shape of the boot has also been revised for a more aggressive look. The side profile though remains unchanged. Enhanced Feature List

As seen in the spy shots, the updated Seltos will most likely get advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keep assist. 

It could also feature a dual-integrated 10.25-inch touchscreen system as seen on the international model. The Safety kit on the current Seltos already includes six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSM), hill assist, brake assist and ABS with EBD, which are likely to be retained.

Expected Powertrains

Though the 2023 Kia Seltos will most likely continue with the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, it is expected that the new 160PS 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine will also be offered with the facelifted SUV. Kia has earlier discontinued the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine with the existing version of the Seltos.

Expected Price And Rivals

The facelifted Kia Seltos is expected to be priced from Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. Once launched, it will continue its rivalry with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq and Maruti Grand Vitara.
