- Truth About Mahindra Bolero.Hello everyone, my name is Pavitpal Singh, a proud owner of Mahindra's old-style tough looking SUV, Bolero 2008 Di turbo model, as said earlier proud owner means a lot of pros as compare to cons that SUV contains. So what I like about it is that it's road presence though not much attractive as Fortuner but it has made its place in the hearts of many youngsters as it have looks like Thar but in the same time it can be used as a family vehicle and also it is used by our police force and is allotted to higher government officials so you can definitely feel like VIP on the road. In India, most important things that everyone consider while buying a car especially an SUV are like mileage, maintenance cost and insurance cost so the figures are mileage with AC is 16, Mileage without AC is 17. Service cost 6 to 10k. Insurance (2.5 cc) 10,000. Now talking about some pros of it 1. Muscular look with plenty of modification options. 2. Can take bad roads with ease. 3. Strong build quality. 4. Easy availability of spare parts at a cheap price anywhere in India. 5. Lowest maintenance cost in 7 seater SUV segment. 6. Lowest on road price in 7 seater SUV segment. Now why I've given it 3 stars, the cons are mentioned as follow 1. Poor riding experience on bad roads, a lot of body roll. 2. lot of engine noise. 3. Little bit corrosion problem. 4. No safety equipment. 5. Heavy clutch and brake with hard gears shift. 6. Simple interior design on door panels. At last, I want to say that it is value for money package.Read More6

- Mahindra Bolero ZLXI had bought my Mahindra Bolero ZLX in 2015 and so far I have driven around 77000 km. I have bought this car for 2 reasons. First, Mahindra Bolero is very easier to maintain as its parts are available everywhere and almost every mechanic can deal with it. Second, I am a die hard fan of Mercedes G Wagon, so bearing resembles, I went for it. Now, depending upon the price, the build quality is very poor. Joints, where the parts are joined are open. Suspension quality is very poor. I am shocked, Mahindra Bolero beings one of the oldest SUV in the market Mahindra has not brought up with the changes. Parts are cheap but is said that it also wears down very quickly. The major problem is of its bolt joints. Being an owner of such a vehicle always needs to have money in the pocket for running maintenance. Lastly, I am from Assam and the after sale service is very poor in the Mahindra dealer.Read More7
- The Rugged Warrior - BoleroI purchased a Mahindra Bolero SLE power plus in the year 2017 for my personal use. Basically, bolero comes to your mind when you are looking for something rugged but this new version powered with M-Hawk engine also brings in the missing smoothness. In Bihar and Jharkhand user prefer it more because of its great off-road capabilities. It's been a great experience especially when it comes to after-sales service of Mahindra but still, there are some points related to safety and comfort which can be reckoned. Especially in winters the missing heater really hurts. Overall it will conclude to be a good purchase and Value for money as the resale value of bolero is pretty good as compared to the other cars of the same segment Ravi RanjanRead More3
