Renault Pulse RxL ABS is an entry level diesel variant in this model series. It is equipped with a 1.5-litre diesel engine that has four cylinders. This mill can produce a maximum power output of 63.1bhp and delivers torque of 160Nm. It allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 Kmph in nearly 14.5 seconds. On the other hand, it comes fitted with disc and drum braking mechanism, which ensure safety to a great extent. A few more security aspects are also available like ABS with EBD, engine immobilizer, driver airbag, and rear defogger as well. In terms of exteriors, this hatch has a set of steel wheels on its sides, while the rear end is highlighted by its stylish boot lid and luminous tail lamps. At front, it features a sporty radiator grille and wide windscreen, which gives a clear view to the driver ahead. Meanwhile, the overall look of its interiors is quite appealing with fabric accentuated door trims and a dual tone color scheme. A number of useful aspects are packed inside the cabin like a tilt steering wheel, on-board trip computer, automatic climate control system, two bottle holders, accessory socket and trunk room lamp to name a few. Besides all these, it comes with a boot space of 251 litres, which is quite good for storing a lot of stuff inside.

Exteriors:

At front, it has a large windshield made of a cool green tinted glass, while a couple of wipers are also integrated to it. The bonnet is very sleek, whereas the perforated radiator grille looks quite bold. Surrounding it is a trendy headlight cluster that is equipped with bright headlamps as well as turn indicators. Besides these, an air dam is also available which comes fitted to its body colored bumper. Its rear end is designed in a stylish way, which includes aspects like a tail light cluster and boot lid with company's badge engraved on it. Engine and Performance:

A 1.5-litre diesel mill, which has a displacement capacity of 1461cc, powers this variant. It has four cylinders, 8-valves and is integrated with a common rail direct injection system. Paired with a five speed manual transmission gear box, this motor transmits engine power to its front wheels. It gives out a peak power of 63.1bhp at 4000rpm and yields torque of 160Nm at 2000rpm. The maximum mileage it can return on bigger roads is around 23.08 Kmpl, and the minimum comes to about 20 Kmpl within the city. Moreover, it propels the vehicle to achieve a top speed of approximately 160 Kmph and accelerates from 0 to 100 Kmph in close to 14.5 seconds.

Braking and Handling:

The front wheels are fitted with ventilated disc brakes, while drum brakes are used for the rear ones. It is further accompanied by ABS with EBD which further boosts this mechanism. The manufacturer has assembled its front axle with a McPherson strut and a torsion beam is fitted on the rear one.
