One of the most highly acclaimed home bred passenger car manufacturer, Tata Motors has launched the facelifted version of its flagship compact sedan Tata Indigo eCS. This sub 4 meter length sedan has done decent business in the Indian market but heavy competition has created problems for its sales in the segment. This engine has the ability to churn out a 69bhp at 4500rpm and produces a maximum 135Nm of torque output at 2500rpm. This turbocharged diesel engine has been mated to an advanced five speed F-Shift (TA65 cable shift) gearbox that transmits the power through the front wheels and improves the fuel efficiency.
