The Fluence sedan is manufactured under the badge of Renault that has given the vehicle a cosmetic facelift which will be launched in 2013. The facelift version of Fluence has already started its test rounds abroad. For the first time a prototype of the 2013 Renault Fluence has been seen. The compact saloon is also being sold as the Samsung SM3 in South Korea.
Looking at the on-test camouflaged Fluence one can say that the car has minimal changes and that the facelift is most likely to be a minor one. The front fascia of the car is expected to have new headlamps with a different grille and the up front of the bumper. At the rear end, the Fluence may have a revised tail lamps and a new bumper. But the other changes which may be incorporated in the car are unknown. 2013 Renault Fluence may debut later next year.
Renault launched Fluence sedan in India in the year 2011, but since then the sales of the car has been quite slow because of the steep pricing and the limited features available with the diesel variant of the car. The French automaker have also been pointed at times for aligning with small dealers in India. Though the company is not planning to expand its dealers number in the coming months but it can revise its pricing policy for the existing products in India.
The Renault Duster SUV is also on the verge of launch in India and looking at the number of dealers here, the waiting list for the SUV will increase. Most of the products in the Brand's portfolio are just presence markers rather than brand builders. In India will get the face lifted Fluence after the global launch of the car.
The Renault India has future plans which includes the launch of re-badged and restyled C-segment sedan called the Scala which is based on Nissan Sunny.
