2013 Renault Symbol is Updated Logan with Renault Logo; Unveiled in Istanbul

The 2013 Renault Symbol has been finally showcased at the 14th Istanbul Motor show, which started on 2nd and will go till 11th November 2012. The all new Renault Symbol is actually not a new vehicle that world has seen, it's the new Dacia Logan, but with a Renault Logo, and the reason is well known, where Dacia doesn't exist, the parent company Renault sells products under its own name. Just like in India, Duster is sold with Renault badge, while as Dacia Duster in many markets.
So coming back to the point, 2013 Renault Symbol has certainly come out carrying various upgrades, modern equipment and revised engine range, ensuring that it has all the ingredients to make it a hit with customers in Renault’s international markets. New Renault Symbol features Renault’s new styling identity which provides it with a modern, even more dynamic stance. Comfort has been enhanced by a raft of modern technologies, including cruise control with speed limiter, automatic climate control and the Renault Media Nav navigation system which incorporates a wide touch-screen display, plus USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
A new petrol engine, as well as a choice of economical diesel power-plants that are even more respectful of the environment. Commenting on the same, a company official says, “New Renault Symbol delivers a level of equipment normally associated with vehicles from the next segment up,” notes Evrim Gouillou, Marketing Project Manager. “Its new design and attractive equipment package are the perfect answer to meet the demands of customers in Renault’s international markets.”
New Renault Symbol features Renault’s new styling cues. As is the case with all the brand’s new models, the front logo is larger and sits in a more prominent, upright position in the middle of a wide, black, chrome-trimmed grille strip. New Renault Symbol comes with a more extensive equipment package, including the Renault Media Nav multimedia navigation system complete with a wide, seven-inch (18cm) touch-screen colour display, USB and Bluetooth connectivity and various others.
New Renault Symbol comes with a new TCe 90 petrol engine that offers the power output of 90bhp and fuel consumption of 5.3 litres/100km. The list also includes the dCi 75 and dCi 90 diesel engines, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of which have come down to 3.9 litres/100km* and 103g/km* respectively. Following its unveiling at the Istanbul Motor Show, New Renault Symbol is scheduled to go on sale in Turkey at the beginning of 2013, before being released in Algeria and Tunisia.
