The last few years have seen carmakers bring out a large number of SUVs in India and 2024 seems no different
Customers in India are increasingly preferring SUVs when it comes to buying a new car. With the rising SUV requirements and desires of consumers, automakers are coming out with new models in different SUV segments. Here’s a list of sub-Rs 20 lakh SUVs expected to be launched in 2024.
Toyota Taisor
Just last month, we reported that Toyota is bringing the Taisor to India. The sub-4m SUV is based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx crossover SUV. Like the other shared products, we can expect subtle design changes and Toyota badges. Toyota will not be introducing new features or updating the powertrain options over the donor vehicle.

Hyundai Creta Facelift
The Hyundai Creta facelift will be one of the most important launches for the carmaker in 2024. Now, Tata could launch the Curvv ICE soon after the debut of the EV version in early 2024. The Curvv will stand out in the segment thanks to its coupe-like styling. It will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Grand Vitara and its features set could include ADAS tech and digital displays on the inside.

Tata Nexon Dark
When the Nexon got a comprehensive update in the second half of 2023, there was no word on the Dark Edition. That said, we do believe that Tata is planning to introduce the Nexon Dark in 2024. 2024 Volkswagen Taigun
Like its Skoda-badged sibling (the Kushaq), the Taigun, too, is due for an update in 2024. It has been 3 years since its launch, and competitors are now offering more features and tech.
