Tata Motors has launched the anticipated Zest’s twin-sibling Bolt with a price tag of Rs. 4.44 Lac (Ex-Showroom New Delhi). Zest came loaded with several segment first features, which are now carried forward in the hatch, making the Bolt more enticing in its segment. Lets see what it got!

Engine
- Bolt is powered by Tata’s new segment-first 1.2-liter Revotron turbo petrol and 1.3-liter Quadrajet diesel (Fiat’s 1.3-liter Multi-Jet)
- The 1193cc turbocharged petrol motors chucks out 90 PS @ 5000 rpm and 140 Nm of max torque in the range of 1500-4000 rpm
- The 1248cc Fiat Multi-Jet derived Quadrajet equipped with fixed-geometry turbo musters 75 PS @ 4000 rpm and 190 Nm of peak torque @ 1750-3000 rpm
- Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual unit while the F-Tronic AMT offered with Zest is not available as of now
- 1.2-liter Revotron petrol gets certified fuel economy of 17.57 kmpl and the 1.3-liter Quadrajet gets 22.95 kmpl.
Safety
- Except for the base XE, Bolt comes equipped with ABS (Anti-lock-Braking-System) and EBD (Electronic-Brakeforce-Distribution) along with CSC (Corner-Stability-Control)
- Dual-front airbags (Driver+Co-Passenger) is offered in top-two trims - XMS & XT
