The Celebration Edition Kit is expected to be on sale from October 1 to November 15. The kit which includes decals on the side, roof and bonnet, illuminated sill plates, roof-mounted rear spoiler and “Celebration Edition” badge is a dealer level fitment and can be applied on all the variants. This is the major advantage with the kit. The additional kit is meant purely to enhance the aesthetics of the car.
The kit which costs INR 20,000 to the customers if bought separately will cost only INR 13,000 if accompanied with the special edition model.
The engine specifications are unaltered with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder Revotron turbocharged petrol engine giving 90 PS of power and 140 NM torque. The diesel engine is a 1.3-litre Quadrajet giving 75 PS of power and 190 Nm of torque. Both the petrol and diesel engine come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
This edition comes at a time when both Zest and Bolt could not boost the sales to a level expected from them. The company aims to give a good fight to its rivals with Tata Bolt special edition.
