Chevrolet Enjoy MPV Launching on May 9, 2013

We have constantly updating you about the upcoming Chevrolet Enjoy MPV, which will be the GM's first MPV in India. Now the latest news coming is about the launch of the vehicle, it will be launched on May 9, 2013. To be positioned against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV is expected to be priced very competitive.

Coming both in the petrol and diesel engine options, the Enjoy MPV will carry the 1.4-litre Petrol and Fiat's 1.3-litre Multijet (co-developed by GM) respectively. While the 1.4-litre petrol engine churns out the maximum power output of 103bhp and 127Nm of torque; the 1.3-litre Multijet produces the maximum power output of 77bhp and 200Nm of torque. The transmission will be a five-speed manual for both diesel and petrol versions.

Chevrolet Enjoy MPV is likely to come in both the 7-seat and 8-seat variants. The 7 seat variant will have 4 captain seats and third row will be in a bench style, while the 8 seater will have two captain seats and second and third row seats in bench.

In terms of looks, the Enjoy MPV isn't as impressive as the Ertiga, however the spaciousness and the engine options under the hood make it a worthy choice. It's the pricing now, which will play a major role in deciding the future of this product. And we can hope its price to be very competitive, as we have seen GM pricing the Sail Sedan and hatchback very lucrative.
