We reported this to you earlier that Fiat India is planning to launch the festive editions of both its cars Linea and Punto. Now they have finally rolled out the exclusive variants and termed them as 'Absolute' editions, the prices have been kept the same as that of the existing variants. The cars were unveiled today by Mr. Ravi Bhatia, Head- Business Development- Fiat Group Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd in New Delhi. Both Absolute models are given a bunch of advanced features helping them become more plush and better products than before. Both now gets new tablet satellite navigation that they called ‘Car Pad’ which runs on Android 2.3 OS.
The other common features offered with both models are Contoured Splash Guards (Mud Flaps), 'Absolute' badge set, new door sill having their respective brand name (Linea and Punto) printed on it. Moreover, the carpets too have been changed, where Fiat Linea's Absolute Edition gets it in beige colour, Punto Absolute has it in Grey. Fiat Linea has got some features in addition like Reverse Parking Sensors and Chrome strip on the boot.
Other than the above features, Fiat India has also offered 50% free insurance and roadside cover, and the offer is available at all trims but is on limited stock. The special editions are brought at a time when the car sales in India is estimated to be on all time high in the year. And ever since Fiat has parted its way from Tata Motors, have been trying hard to project it in the best possible way.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Bhatia said, “Fiat has exhilarating plans for this festival season. To celebrate and share the festivities with our customers, the launch of the Absolute Edition offers them additional benefits at the same price. India is an important market for us and this endeavour is an important step for FIAT in that direction. We came out with this celebratory offer keeping the consumers sentiments and their needs in mind where they can avail maximum benefits at no extra cost”.
We have recently seen the all new Fiat Grande Punto 90bhp , which proved itself to be the most powerful vehicle of its segment, we have also seen the Linea facelift this year only. So if all things are put in place, Fiat is moving ahead with an aggressive strategy.
