Following the unveiling of the Tata Nexon facelift, the carmaker has teased the updated version of its electric counterpart. The Tata Nexon EV facelift will be revealed on September 7 and is expected to go on sale along with its ICE counterpart on September 14.

What’s New?

First, The Nexon EV will be christened “Nexon.ev”, as a part of the carmaker’s new identity for its electric vehicles. It will sport a fresh styling, which will be similar to the ICE-powered version. However, to distinguish itself more, the EV-specific elements will be more detailed.

The front profile shall get a full connected LED DRL strip, instead of the split setup of the regular Nexon. The split headlamp setup, a new closed-off grille, and chunkier bumper should also be a part of the cosmetic upgrades, inspired by the Tata Curvv.

The teaser shows the connected LED DRLs with the welcome light function in play, just like luxury cars. One can expect an identical-looking rear profile as the Nexon but with different alloy wheels.
