Ford India has launched the 2012 Ford Fiesta Sedan Ambiente edition car in March, which had a simple portfolio with a genuine price adding up in the variants of the car available. This new edition of the car had exciting features with global quality. The car was meant to influence Indian customers with the All-New Ford Fiesta technology and global driving dynamics. The car had manual transmitted two trims engine, which were offered both in petrol and diesel options.
Ford Fiesta is one of the most applauded sedans in India and is known for its looks and mileage on road. Ford engines are very fuel efficient and are world class performers on road. This sedan car of Ford is much more durable than those of any other company in the same segment of cars. Ford has a world class technology in manufacturing the engines of the car. The current Ford Fiesta has now been on the market since 2008, recently it's Ambient variant too was launched in India at Rs 7.23 lakhs (Ex-showroom). The spied pictures force us to believe that soon there may be an all new version of Ford Fiesta coming in.
We cannot claim when it will drive in India, but the current market dynamics would surely compel Ford to enhance its line up to gain the competitive edge. The car appears to have revised the front bumpers with new design pattern, a new trunk lid and updated taillights. The styling of the car is a bit difficult to accurately make out what it is but it is similar to the layout of the new Fusion. The exterior of the car had certain limited changes but the interior and the engine specifications have changed to a lot extent. The car includes a 1.0 liter three-cylinder engine which churns out 80 hp of power and an EcoBoost variant with outputs of 99 hp of power and 123 hp of power.
