Haryana Govt Gifts Audi Q5 to Olympic Medallists and SX4 to Participants

Haryana Govt has honoured the Indian Olympic Medallists Sushil Kumar, Yogeshwar Dutt, Saina Nehwal and Gagan Nargang with the luxury crossover, Audi Q5 for making the country proud at 2012 London Olympic. DLF, the famous Indian realty firm has worked in association with the state govt to conduct and celebrate the event.

Moreover, the other 15 sport-persons who participated from Haryana, but could not make it to the finals too were rewarded with a special edition of Maruti Suzuki SX4. Chieft Minister of Haryana, Bhupinder Singh Hooda presented the keys at the felicitation ceremony held at Gohana, Sonipat. India won six medals at London Olympics, out of which two were silver and four were bronze.

The winners were also given gifts cheques of worth Rs 1 crore to 1.5 crore. Earlier to this, Badminton star, Saina Nehwal was gifted a BMW car too at a function held by the company, where company's brand Ambassdor, Sachin Tendulkar Handed over the car key to Nehwal.
