Honda Jazz to launch tomorrow

 The most awaited car 'Honda Jazz' finally going to be launched tomorrow in Indian market. This would be the first small car of the company in the country. The price tag is expected to be between Rs 6.5 -6.8 lakh. The Honda Jazz will be powered by a 1.2 litre intelligent variable valve timing and and lift electronic control (i-VTEC) petrol engine. The engine, which is developed in Honda R&D centre in Tochigi Japan, has been specially developed for the Indian Market. The 5-door compact car will be scaled up in phases with 70 per cent local contents. Honda is believed to offer the car with features like airbag, ABS (anti-lock braking system) and G-CON Technology (an advanced passive shielding that offers the occupant a survival zone in case of an unavoidable collision). The new powertrain is a four - cylinder, 1198 cc engine featuring Programmed Fuel Injection delivering class - leading Power of 90 PS (66 kW) @ 6,200 rpm and Torque of 110 Nm (11.2 kg-m) @ 4800 rpm while giving impressive fuel economy of 16.1 km/l as per ARAI test data.
