Korean auto major Hyundai that launched the Neo Fluidic Hyundai Elantra in India last year, is now all set to roll out the mid-life facelift version of the car in its home market. Since the car has been doing quite well for the company in the Indian market as well, we are hoping it to launch in India as well. After the car was being spotted testing in South Korea recently, the company has now officially teased the first images of the car, which might very soon be launched in South Korea.
The car is being sold in several international markets under different names (in Korea it is known as Avanate) since 2010, is one of the top-selling cars for the company globally including India where it is the segment topper. If we look at the images, the car has not received a major design upgrade, however the revised front bumper, LED headlights and revised tail lamps, give it a refreshed look. Other than the aforementioned features, the Elantra also receives park assist and a new double-tone alloys.
As mentioned above, it will only be a mid-life facelift of the car, so expect it to carry the similar engine options. Hyundai Elantra has two engine options in India- a 1.6-litre turbo diesel and a 1.8-litre petrol, capable of churning out the maximum power output of 126.3bhp and 147.5bhp respectively.
This is all what we have for now, stay tuned to CarDekho for all the latest updates on the same. Cheers!
