Hyundai Motors gets easy finance options for Indian customers

Hyundai Motors India Limited, on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Oriental bank of commerce in lieu of providing easy finance options to its buyers in India. The MoU was signed amidst the esteemed presence of Mr. Arvind Saxena, Director, Marketing & Sales, HMIL and Mr. S.C. Das, Deputy General Manager- Marketing, Oriental Bank of Commerce, representing their respective organizations.
Mr. Arvind Saxena, Director, Marketing and Sales, HMIL, seemed happy on the occasion and said that the company is pleased with the association with one of the leading public sector banks in the country as it would help the firm to leverage easy and convenient finance options to its potential customers across the country. Finance options are widely sought by the customers in today's arena and the move seems to be not only an intelligent one but can be credited as a thoughtful move as well.
Within the scope of the agreement, both the organisations would use their current respective databases of customers to grow their loan business. The tie-up to provide finance options to the customers would be spread across the country. As a part of the alliance, there would be vigorous effort to escalate the sales of Hyundai vehicles with the bank's car loans to back the same.
Oriental Bank of Commerce is one of the most reputed and oldest banks in India with 1,573 branches spread throughout the country. The bank enrolls 15,000 employees with a base of 1,038 ATMs. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the fully owned subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC), South Korea is one of the largest car manufacturer in India. Various cars categorised across different segments include the Santro, i10 and the i20, the A3 segment includes the Accent and the Verna Transform, the A5 segment includes the Sonata Transform and the SUV segment includes the Santa Fe.
The company seems all roses and no guns this festive season as Hyundai Santa Fe, one of the most recent launches from the company's stable has been welcomes with open arms by the Indian audience. The car within two weeks of its launch managed to gather sales of 535 bookings that is more than close to the expected target by the company.
