Incoming-Chevrolet Tavera Neo on March 21st

General Motors raised the curtain on Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 at the 11th Auto Expo held in Delhi. The date for the MUVs official launch in India has been finalized as 21st March 2012. The new Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 is equipped with a BS IV engine and will have much more controlled emissions to abide by the BS IV emission standards. Now this Neo 3 version of Tavera will be seen not only in the BS3 compliant cities but also in BS IV compliant cities.

This MUV not only gets a new engine but has also been granted a noticeable facelift primarily at the front end. The Tavera Neo 3 SUV has been endowed a broader mesh type grille and the matching air ducts. Ample proportion of chrome has been used in the luminous headlamps and edges along the grille and a prominent Chevrolet logo sits firm in the centre of the grille.

A bit of sprucing has been rendered to the interiors also which adds an up-market feel to the car. The Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 is powered by the common rail turbo diesel engine (CRDe) that is delivered by ICML Sonalika. This 2.0 liter diesel engine drives a peak power of 106.8 PS and a peak torque of 263.7 Nm.
