The Indian auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra that rolled out its premium double-cabin pick-up Genio DC last year, has been working on to develop the left hand drive version of the vehicle for quite sometime now, so to export it to various global markets.
Recently we caught the similar left hand drive Genio DC doing test mules. Mahindra has code-named it X197 as of now, however it will have the same name, Genio there as well.
The information that we have on the same is, it has a more powerful engine than that of the Indian version of the Genio DC. Looking at the pictures one can easily notice that the rear design of the vehicle has been changed. It also has four-door and larger loading bay.
Tata Xenon double cab, which is currently on sale in many global markets will be the key competitor against the Genio there too.
We will update you more on the same, so stay tuned. Cheers!
