Mahindra makes Rise its new umbrella brand

Mahindra India is a well known utility auto mobile manufacturer expanded wide across other sectors. Now Mahindra India, is aiming to consolidate its stance into one new brand which is known as “Rise”. This is one step ahead towards catering to the global image the company wishes to built for itself. In this new project Mahindra will single out as one brand image for all its products in various sectors.
As per the reports in media, Mahindra is willing to invest Rs 120 crore for the coming three years time to advertise the new brand position for the company. Mahindra wishes to spread its wings across globe and this move is ushering towards its global aim. As per the reports, it is for the first time that Mahindra will communicate from a single brand. The company has its presence in various sectors such as IT and logistics, automotive, aerospace and farm equipment.
The reports also quoted Anand Mahindra the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra and Mahindra who said that with “Rise” the company is hoping to capture the difficult international markets. He also said that Rise came in existence to give the brand one image and one voice. As per the report it revealed that Mahindra hired a New York based advertising firm Strawberry Frog agency to make a new brand image and position it accordingly.
Mahindra is expanding in the automobile industry and with the growing economy, in other respective sectors also. Mahindra marked its presence when its arm Mahindra Tech took over the IT giant Satyam Computer Services. In 2009, it also took over Gippsland Aeronautics and Aerostaff Australia for a whooping amount of Rs 175 crore for manufacturing aircraft and the related parts for the international market.
Just what the name suggests, Mahindra has its plans in shape which will help it rise high.
The automotive company, Mahindra India has also been in news for stamping on the final agreement with Ssangyong Motors, the Korean auto brand for a 70 per cent stake in the foreign firm.
