The vehicle is the first sub-4 meter SUV in India yet accommodates seven people (5 Adults +2 Jumper seats), however Premier Rio came before it, but that's a five-seater one. In fact 110PS version of the Duster is more powerful engine than the Quanto, however the later also produces an impressive 100bhp, so the difference is not very huge. Mahindra Quanto Vs Premier Rio

Although known to less, but Premier Rio as well is a sub-4 meter compact SUV and has been amongst one of the cheapest SUVs today available in India. The claimed mileage figures too are good, and having a lesser price tag than the Rio, the Quanto beats Premier Rio in most departments.
