Verdict: Both cars are quite evenly equipped here. So, if you are on a tight budget we will recommend you to go for the Maruti Brezza. However, if you can extend your budget and can go for the XUV300 W4, we suggest you do so. Because, for the premium of Rs 30,000, the XUV300 gets various segment-first features like multiple steering modes, rear disc brakes and tyre direction monitor, which not only enhance the driving experience, but also make you feel like you are driving a more expensive car.
Mahindra XUV300 W6 |
Rs 9.30 lakh |
Maruti Brezza ZDI |

What the Maruti Brezza ZDI offers over the Mahindra XUV300 W6: Alloy wheels, front fog lamps, projector headlamps, rear washer, wiper and demister, auto AC, height adjustable driver seat, rear parking sensors and high speed alert system.
Verdict: Here, we will recommend you to go for Maruti Brezza because it offers more useful features than the Mahindra XUV300 at a lesser price. The Mahindra does get some interesting features like multiple steering modes, tyre position monitor and the likes, but they are not as useful as the auto AC, height adjustable driver’s seat and rear parking sensors on the Brezza. Height adjustable driver’s seat is sorely missed on the XUV300 W6.
And as far as the touchscreen infotainment system is concerned, you can get it fitted from a Maruti dealership as an accessory. Notably, the Mahindra XUV300 also gets rear disc brakes unlike the Brezza. While that will surely enhance the braking capabilities of the Mahindra SUV, the Brezza’s front disc and rear drum brake setup won’t disappoint you either.
