Maruti Suzuki’s first ever sub-4 meter compact SUV is all set for its launch in India, which is slated for this fiscal. Ahead of the car’s launch, the base variant of this highly anticipated compact SUV has been spotted. If you were really impressed by the top-of-the-range trim of Brezza and if the revelation of the fact that- the contrasting colour scheme is exclusive to top range variant hampered your merriment, then have a look at this snap and you will have a fair idea about the differences between the variants of the upcoming SUV.
Brezza will be launched with a single diesel unit, which will exclusively be Maruti’s time-tested DDiS200, 90PS Fiat-sourced mill. It is expected that the car will be launched featuring a price tag that falls in the ballpark of Rs. 5.3 lac, with top of the line variant being priced somewhere close to Rs. 8 lac. Considering the fact that this car is only available in diesel variants and that it will be sold out of Maruti’s standard dealerships, instead of the Nexa premium outlets, it can be deduced that the car snapped is Brezza’s LDi variant. Also deducing from a variant-wise features leak of Brezza, expect this model of the sub-4 meter SUV to come with a driver’s side airbag as standard and other safety features like ABS with EBD and passenger-side airbags will be made available as optional extras. Speculations suggest that this car will be launched sometime next month and will rival the likes of Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300.
