Maruti Suzuki Cars Get Costlier, Hyundai too Announces Price Hike

Most automakers based out of India have already hiked their car prices due to rising input cost and currency fluctuation, Now India's largest car manufactures, Maruti Suzuki India and Hyundai have done the same. While MSI's cars went expensive by upto Rs 23,000 from yesterday, Hyundai has announced to hike its car prices by upto Rs 20,000 across all models by February.
If we talk about Maruti's top-sellers, M800, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga are now priced higher by Rs 2,500, 5,000, 10,000 and 7,800 respectively. Hyundai has just officially announced the hike, so we will update you on model wise hike once we hear it from the company.
Speaking on the same, Hyundai India's Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Rakesh Srivastava said, "On account of rise in input cost and fluctuation in currency, we will increase the prices up to Rs 20,000 by February 1, 2013 across all the models starting from Eon to Santa Fe SUV,"
