It is available in a choice of five variants (E, S, SX, SX+, SX(O)) and three engine options -- one diesel and two petrol engines. Verdict

The Hyundai Venue might be pricier by Rs 25,000 but gets additional convenience features. It gets a driver armrest with storage, steering-integrated audio controls, all of which would improve the daily drive coming in handy for the diesel drivers who engage in longer commutes. The Vitara Brezza with its cheaper price tag misses out on significant features that cannot be fitted post purchase.

What Vitara Brezza gets over Venue: Rain sensing wipers, rear center armrest with cupholders, 60:40 rear seat split, sunglass holder and push button start/stop with smart key.

Verdict

The Vitara Brezza takes brownie points here as it packs features which justify the Rs 15,000 premium it commands over the Venue. The Hyundai does pack a few features more than the Maruti but these won’t have much effect on your overall ownership experience.
