A NEXA dealership from Bangalore has teased the silhouette of Maruti’s upcoming premium hatchback, Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The illustration clearly indicates that the company is going to name the car as Baleno, unlike previous hypothesis that directed towards a different name. The website also shows that the car will be launched in the month of October-as known.

Under the hood, it will be getting two familiar engines in India. The 1.2-litre VTVT petrol and the newly launched 1.3-litre SHVS diesel that is also being used by Ciaz. To soup up the competition, the diesel just might produce mileage figures as good as 28kmpl. For the European markets, Suzuki will be offering the all-new Baleno with a newly developed 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine (a type of turbo petrol).
Thanks to these dimensions, the interiors get class leading boot space of 354 liters, one litre more than that of Jazz. Also the seating will be lot more comfortable because of generous amount of space. And then there would be the SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment unit with navigation to keep you updated and at ease.
Maruti Baleno price is expected to fall in a lucrative bracket to attract maximum customers.
