The Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 has always been a head turner with its sleek design language and fluid body lines, and with the launch of the 2014 model the CLS has just gotten better. It looks even more scintillating than before thanks to heavily contoured wheel arches and the wide LED tail lights that are flawlessly incorporated in the rear. The CLS 350 christened as ‘CLS 350 model year 2014’ now sports 18-inch alloy wheels with a 15 spoke design.

These changes are not just on the exteriors also on the interiors – a three dimensional display instrument cluster, multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters, sliding sunroof and ambient lighting gives the CLS a chic touch. Mercedes-Benz has made sure that it’s not only the exhaust note that sounds sweet to the ear, the Harman Kardon audio system has also been supplemented with 14 speakers, a subwoofer,  and a 9-channel DSP amplifier, all of which give one the experience of a personal live concert!

Under the hood of the CLS 350 breathes a 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine that produces 272 bhp and 370Nm of torque which helps propel this beauty from 0-100kmph in a matter of 6.1 seconds. It has an electronically restricted top speed of 250kmph.

Though the CLS 350 is a low profile car it has always had a soft ride and with the AIRMATIC suspension it just gets better, as one can opt for increased ground clearance on harsh roads or upward slopes. The dampening program on the CLS also enables the driver to choose from different drive modes ranging from comfort to sporty.

Besides the usal safety features such as air-bags, ABS etc, the new CLS 350 also comes with ACTIVE PARK ASSIST that facilitates better parking in cramped spaces and otherwise. Sensors in the front and rear bumpers further briefs up the security aspect of the Mercedes-Benz CLS.

The new CLS is priced at 89.9 lakh (ex-showroom) Delhi.
