Mercedes GLA and Audi A3- hottest luxury cars to come this year

Indian auto industry is all set to witness few of the year's hottest luxury cars, as the three Germans are aiming to capture this highly potential market. At the recently concluded 2014 Indian Auto Expo, we saw global luxury products like Merc GLA and CLA, Audi A3 and BMW i8. Mercedes-Benz GLA crossover is undoubtedly the hottest SUV to come India, which is likely to be launched by the end of this year. With this trendy model, the company is aiming to regain its top position from its global rival Audi.

Mercedes-Benz take India as one of the key markets for the company globally. The company believe that India has the potential to become Merc's top 10 markets by the end of this decade. The stylish GLA will compete against the likes of Audi Q3 and BMW X1. It is likely to be priced around Rs. 30 lakh.

Audi too seems aggressive with its strategies and is all set to introduce its cheapest car A3 sedan in the market. The company believes that there is a highly potential segment between the premium hatchbacks and A4; and Audi India aims to capitalize on the same. Moreover, the company will introduce the new A3 with a range of engine options to offer the customers a lot more choices to pick and choose from.

While Mercedes-Benz GLA crossover will make its way to Indian market by the end of this year, Audi A3 could be launched by the mid-2014. It will be interesting to see how these two products perform in India, but it is sure that the aggressive approach of three big Germans promises the fiercest competition ever to gain the pole position in India's luxury car segment.
