What’s New?
The changes on the updated GLE SUV are quite subtle, and it retains the same silhouette and design language as its pre-facelift version. Up front, the Mercedes-Benz GLE facelift features a new single-slat grille along with updated LED headlights. The bumper too has been given a mild update for a fresh appeal. Talking about the profile, the 2023 GLE gets 20-inch alloy wheels as standard, and can be upsized to 22-inches. At the rear, the taillamps have been revised and the rear bumper also looks updated.
Like the outgoing version, India gets the Mercedes GLE in its long-wheelbase (LWB) version only for extra cabin space.

Cabin Updates
Inside too, Mercedes has kept the changes to a minimum for the GLE facelift. The dashboard layout remains largely unchanged, closely resembling its pre-facelift version. However, it now boasts a new steering wheel with touch-haptic controls, and the integrated infotainment displays (12.3-inch each) have been upgraded to run on Mercedes' latest MBUX system.
Other features on board the GLE facelift include 4-zone climate control, air purifier, electric tailgate, wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay, a 590W 13-speaker Burmester sound system (as standard), and electrically adjustable front and rear seats with memory function (front seats). The rear USB-C charge ports now support 100W fast charging. Additional features for the top variant include the head-up display, climatised seats and the AIRMATIC suspension.
The passenger safety is taken care of by 9 airbags, a 360-degree camera, traction control, park assist, and ADAS features like blind spot monitoring and autonomous emergency braking.
