It is the 800 cc two-cylinder engine under the hood to deliver the 35 Bhp and 110 Nm of peak power and torque in the car. The ergonomics of the car are also upped from the existing petrol variant. The improved suspension set-up, power-steering and an anti-roll bar are the new additions to enhance the performance and handling aspect of the car. The top-speed is well maintained in the diesel variant which will continue to keep up with the 105 kmph pace. To be honest, it is not very common that we see a diesel variant offered by a car maker for a budget car. The expensive diesel technology makes it quite impossible for any auto manufacturer to maintain the low cost bracket which simply wipes off the ‘cheap’ tag out of the equation.
