New Maruti Wagon R 2019: Variants Check

The new WagonR is offered in three variants: L,V and Z

• Third-gen Wagon R is offered with two petrol engine options: 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre.

• The 1.0-litre engine is only available with L and V variants.

• The 1.2-litre is offered with the V and top-spec Z variants.

• V and Z variants can be had with either a 5-speed MT or AMT.

• Standard safety features include driver airbag, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and speed alert system.

• Front passenger airbag is optional on L and V variants; Z gets dual front airbags as standard.

The 2019 Maruti WagonR has been launched at a starting price of Rs 4.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is available with two petrol engine options and there are three variants on offer. But before we get into the details of what they offer, here’s a quick look at the 2019 WagonR’s engine specs and dimensions:

Here are the variants available with the 2019 WagonR:

Maruti WagonR L (base spec)

Features Safety: Driver’s airbag, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminder, door ajar warning, central locking and speed alert system.

Exterior: Body-coloured bumpers

Interior: Integrated headrests for front and rear seats, dual tone interiors.

Comfort: Manual AC, 12V charging socket

Wheels: 13-inch with 155/80 tyres

LXi (O): For an estimated additional cost between Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000, Maruti will add a front passenger airbag along with front seatbelt pretensioner and force limiter.

Maruti WagonR V

Features (over L)

Safety: Speed-sensing auto door lock, day-night inside rear view mirror.

Exterior: Body-coloured ORVMs and door handles, blacked out B-pillar (1.2-litre only).

Interior: 60:40 split-folding rear seats, silver inside door handles, steering wheel garnish and silver finish on gear knob (AGS only)

Comfort: Electrically-adjustable ORVMs, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, keyless entry, power windows, steering-mounted audio controls (1.2-litre only)

Infotainment: 2-speaker audio system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity with SmartPlay dock

Wheels: 14-inch with 165/70 tyres

VXi (O): For an estimated additional cost between Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000, Maruti will add front passenger airbag along with front seatbelt pretensioner and force limiter.

Maruti WagonR Z

Features (over V)

Safety: Dual front airbags, seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters, front fog lamps.

Exterior: ORVMs with integrated turn indicators.

Comfort: Electrically folding and adjustable ORVMs, rear defogger with washer and wiper, and a tachometer.

Infotainment: 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
