Nissan India is all ready to make its Indian consumers happy. Nissan India will launch its much awaited sedan Nissan Sunny tomorrow that is on 20th September 2011. However, Nissan Sunny was already revealed in an official event held at Taj Hotel located in Bandra Mumbai. Nissan India has pretty high hopes from Nissan Sunny and aspires to drive volumes unlike Nissan Micra. Nissan India has taken drastic measures to keep Nissan Sunny price competitive and lucrative as compared to other sedans currently present in the Indian car market. Conversely, there hasn’t been any official price announcement but, it is expected that Nissan Sunny price will fall between the price of Toyota Etios and Hyundai Verna Fluidic that is it can range from Rs. 6.97 Lakh to Rs. 9.65 Lakh, depending on the model one chooses.

The new Nissan Sunny is expected to be launched in 1.5 litre petrol variant and this engine will keep the capacity to churn out 99 BHP of power along with 134 Nm of torque. There are rumors in the market that Nissan India is also working on the diesel version of Nissan Sunny. Nissan Sunny is already available in three versions in China and USA, which includes Nissan Sunny XL, Nissan Sunny XV and Nissan Sunny XE. Hopefully, all these three models will also be offered in the Indian car market.

Some of the miscellaneous features of Nissan Sunny include power steering, climate control system, cup holders, power windows, keyless entry, push and start/ stop button accompanied with CD player and 4 speakers. Nissan Sunny specifications are said to be technically sound and brilliant, such as its decent mileage. Nissan Sunny will provide an average mileage of 16.95 km per litre, which is verified and certified by ARIA. Some of the major competitors of Nissan Sunny comprise of Volkswagen Vento, Hyundai Verna, Ford Fiesta, Maruti Swift Dzire, Fiat Linea, Tata Indigo Manza and Honda City.
