Mahindra and Mahindra had recently launched the Quanto and have been doing record sales. The company will export the Quanto with a 2.2-litre engine and the company also has plans to export all-wheel drive versions as well.
For the Indian market though, the company has no plans to introduce an automatic on the new three-pot 1.5-litre diesel engine. Also, the XUV500 won’t get an autobox for the next two years.
On the other hand, we could see a Renault Duster with an automatic, maybe not immediately. The Brazilian market gets an automatic version of the Duster. If the Duster gets an automatic, then there is a good possibility to seeing the same box on the Fluence as well. For more on the story, click here.
