The much awaited Renault Scala is finally here! Renault India has been in talks ever since they announced to bring in their version of Nissan Sunny and a few days back when they unveiled the vehicle, it further added sensation and hype. Scala has been receiving a lot of praise as it looks more mature and muscular than its older sibling, the Sunny. And today Renault finally brought the vehicle in style in a manner that stands true to their “Drive the change” philosophy.

Renault has offered the world an opportunity to see the launch event live. This online viewing is however not a popular medium in India yet but undoubtedly it is the most convenient way to approach and get maximum audience to view the launch.

Proving the rumours right, Renault Scala has been priced higher than the sunny, where the petrol variants named RxE and RxL are priced at Rs 6.99 and 7.85 lakh respectively, the diesel variants (RxL and RxZ) will cost Rs 8.69 and 9.57 lakh.

It has come out in a total 4 variants, out of which two are petrol and two are diesel, where the diesel variants offer the maximum of 21.64kmpl of mileage, petrol too offers a decent 16.95kmpl, the one thing that sets it different from other cars available in the A3 compact sedan segment is the availability of CVT, that no other car of the segment offers today. Suspension too has been changed specifically for Indian roads to prevent from bumps and uneven roads, making it comfortable at driving. What makes the all new Scala all refresh and different from the Sunny are a few add-ons, on the inside and at the outside.

The front has got more aggressive looks, owing to the smaller grille and Renault logo is placed right in the center, on the nose. Renault has inscribed the chrome strip on the Scala exactly like they did on the Duster, making the rear of the sedan even more appealing as compared to the boxy rear of the Nissan Sunny.

Then there are a bunch of features that add icing on the cake, like the all leather seats, true keyless entry & Start, folding mirrors, rear fan vents and few more including the interior quality and finishing which make the vehicle more lovable.
