Suzuki Motors has made the public debut of the sportier version of Japan-only Alto Kei hatch - Alto Turbo RS at the ongoing 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon. To differentiate itself from the stock tiny hatch, the Turbo RS offers full body kits, beefed-up bumpers and sportier ‘RS’ graphics. Alto Turbo RS also rides on a snazzier 17-inch 165/45 cross-section radials featuring OZ aluminum alloys.
It also features smoked projector headlights along with integrated daytime running LEDs. To complement its appearance, Turbo RS gets Recaro bucket seats on the inside. Moreover, speaking of the dimensions - Alto Turbo RS is based on the stock Alto Kei hatch, so dimensionally it is similar. The stock variants of the hatchback measure 3,395 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width and 1,475-1,500 mm in height.
660cc Turbo Petrol?
The Alto RS Turbo features a turbocharged version of the stock Alto Kie’s naturally aspirated 660cc 3-cylinder gasoline motor. Though the specifications of the vehicles are not yet released by the Japanese automaker, but vehicle is likely to produce close to 100 bhp! Alto Kei features Front Wheel Drive (FWD) as well as Four Wheel Drive (4WD) option, so expect the sportier version to be 4WD as well.
