Tata Indica Station Wagon sneaked

Station wagons in India are hard to come. But looks like, the Indian car market is on a big shift of late. We can say this from the recently spotted Tata Indica based car which more or less looks like a station wagon despite the heavy camouflage it adorns. Lookswise, there is not much saying as with the disguise which makes it difficult to comment upon any design changes with respect to the appearance of the car, while there are enough juicy details on the new Tata car.

 

The 1.4 L CR4 engine could cover for the diesel engine option, while the 1.2 L petrol engine as seen in the Tata Indica Vista could be used to fill up for the petrol counterpart. The ground-breaking mileage of 25 kmpl is however likely to be carried forward to the new Tata car to maintain the brand image. The Tata Indica brand had been used mostly by the taxi segment due to the factors like its phenomenal mileage and surprisingly spacious interiors for a small car which have added to the spectacular demand for the hatchback.

 

The economic Tata Indica price makes it an all the more value for money proposition making it worth every penny ideal for the commercial use in the Indian car market. Maintaining all the key aspects,  taxi usage of the Tata Indica brand also might be extended to the recently spotted new Tata Indica version with the accommodation for seven passengers of over 4 m length vehicle with an estimated price tag of around Rs 3 lakh to make it all the more worthy. But, is this the same Tata Indica XL version, the auto major has been hinting at some point of time, well, it seems to be so.
