Tata Motors is trying hard to improve its image in the passenger car segment. While its new hatchback, the Tiago, has been able to win a lot of hearts, the upcoming premium SUV, Hexa, looks quite promising as well. The Hexa has been scheduled for launch in January 2017. However, the home-grown automaker wants its customers to get a taste of the mighty SUV ahead of its launch.
Tata has announced an initiative called ‘Hexa Experience Centre’, in Gurugram where the customers would be able to test the Hexa both on and off the road. The test track includes a challenging off-roading course so that customers get to test the full potential of the Hexa. To make the experience premium, the venue also features a customer lounge, dining area, special kids’ zone, a pet adoption zone and other activities.
The Hexa Experience centre is located in EO Huda Gurugram II, Sector 29, and the event is scheduled for three days – November 25-27. Similar events will be organised soon in other metro cities, including Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. The customers will also have the option to book the Hexa at the venue, ahead of its launch in January.
To take part in the event, you can log on to Tata Hexa's official website or directly visit the venue for on-the-spot registration. Announcing the dates for the event, Mayank Pareek, president – passenger vehicle business unit, Tata Motors, said, “Ever since its first showcase, the Tata Hexa has generated a great amount of curiosity and excitement, resulting in an encouraging response for bookings across our dealerships. The spirit of Hexa is all about going out there and doing ‘what it takes’ to deliver an unforgettable experience. Further building on our customer engagement initiatives, we are now launching Hexa Experience Centres that will further enable potential customers, enthusiasts and their families to get up close and personal, with the feature loaded Tata Hexa.”
Visitors can also enjoy the inclines, declines, side slopes, axle twisters and alternate rumblers of the track with a professional off-road driver. The Hexa also features first-in-class super drive modes which permit the driver to switch between four different driving modes – Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road. It has an electronically controlled all-wheel drive with torque-on-demand feature. The course will let you experience all these features which will come with the upcoming SUV. The Hexa price is likely to fall in between Rs 12-16 lakh. If we talk about the competition, the Hexa will rival offerings such as the highly popular Mahindra XUV500 and Toyota Innova Crysta.
