Tata Motors Sells 49,304 units in May 2013

Home grown auto major, Tata Motors’ total sales (including exports) of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles in May 2013 were 49,304 vehicles. The company’s domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for May 2013 were 45,430 nos. Cumulative sales (including exports) for the company for the fiscal were 1,00,464 nos.

Commercial Vehicles

The company’s sales of commercial vehicles in May 2013 in the domestic market were 34,296 nos., LCV sales were 24,173 nos., while M&HCV sales stood at 10,123 nos. Cumulative sales of commercial vehicles in the domestic market for the fiscal were 70,321 nos. Cumulative LCV sales were 50,196 nos., while M&HCV sales stood at 20,125 nos.

Passenger Vehicles

Sales of passenger vehicles for May 2013 were at 11,134 nos. Sales of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo range in May 2013 were 8,927 nos. The Sumo/ Safari/ Aria/ Venture range sales were 2,207 nos. Cumulative sales of passenger vehicles were 22,704 nos. Cumulative sales of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo range were at 17,845 nos. Cumulative sales of the Sumo/Safari/ Aria/ Venture range were 4,859 nos.

Exports

The company's sales from exports were 3,874 nos. in May 2013. Cumulative sales from exports for the fiscal were 7,439 nos.
