Tata Nano, the cheapest car in the world offered from the Tata Motor's stable had been in news continuously for past few weeks. So far we have been witnessing the events on Tata Nano catching fire from the Northern part of the country. But, the most recent incident with Tata Nano caught in flames, happened four days ago according to one of our close sources. The completely charred small car had been spotted in Tamilnadu, to be more specific, Chennai. The Tata Nano LX was found surrounded by fire coming out from the rear end of the car.

The information about the car could only be obtained from the name plate of the car, which suggests that the car is from Tamilnadu. However, the exact date and any more details on the accident could not be collected. Apparently, this is the third such event to have occurred from the recent past, with the first incident taking place in Anand, Gujarat, where the small car that was being driven by Ms. Hafsa's husband accompanied by four others had reported about their suspicion of possible fire in the car. The second incident was reported in Sri Lanka to mark it as the first case from out side India on Tata Nano. Quite surprisingly, all the incidents reported, have the fire originated from the rear end of the car. Though no information has been obtained from Tata Motors on their small car; the recent fire accidents had only been adding up to the already battered image of the car.

Another suspicion arose about the Tata Nano in flames is that despite the availability of the fire extinguisher in reach, the action on the fire had not been taken until some time had elapsed. But no conclusions can be made based on the information, which could turn out to be an assumption after all. To sum up, three accidents happening in past few days from three different locations is not something to be ignored.
