Tata to sell Nano to employees within the firm

The Indian car industry is abuzz with the news of declining sales of small car,therefore Tata Motors has planned to boost its Nano sales by selling this small car to its employees, who work at the Tata Group of Companies. In March, Tata Nano was at its peak volumes, which were 10,000 units. This was the time when Tata Motors had put in their full efforts to market Tata Nano by the means of special loan plans. But slowly, sales of Tata Nano started declining.

As per the reports, Tata Motors also aimed at the Tata’s IT division, which is TCS or Tata Consultancy Services. Tata targeted the IT division through a special edition Nano, which was exclusively for TCS people. This car came with an attractive discount of Rs. 25000 on the highest variant and it also featured Ratan Tata’s embossed autograph on the car’s dashboard. This Tata Motors’ strategy to boost up the Tata Nano sales is one step further to make their employees involved more. However, one thing needs to be noted that Tata Motors employees get unique discounts and also lower interest rates on loans via Tata Motors Finances on Tata cars and on Fiat cars.

It is a well-known fact that Tata Motors has a policy of motivating its employees, who live at a distance of over 10 kilometers from the Tata Motors factory and also do not have any other means of transportation to go back and forth by Tata cars. For the moment, it is kind of official that Tata Motors will be selling Tata Nano to its own employees with special discount offers and schemes in order to boost up its sales once again.
